His parents were Alfred MOTHERSOLE & Sarah Mary Jane PRIDDLE
He married Pearl Mary GILMORE in Queensland on 8th May, 1942
He had previously served in the Australian Army Service Corps before joining the 2nd/31st Infantry Battalion (SN 8656)
