Noel Albert Pardon RAAF SN: 419211

Noel Albert Pardon was born in Mildura on the 21/9/1923 and enlisted in the RAAF on the 17/7/1942 at the age of 18 years.
After training in Canada, Noel was transferred to 102 Squadron RAF Bomber Command at Pocklington England. He was a wireless operator/air gunner flying in Halifax bombers on missions over Northwest Europe.
On the night of the 28/6/1944 Noel was killed during a flying battle near Beauvais while on a mission to bomb rail facilities at Blainville France. He was 20 years old.
Two other crewmen were killed while four crewmen became prisoners of war.

Noel is buried in the Marissel French National Cemetery.
