Pilot Officer Atkinson 422530 and Flying Officer Radford 415549 of 456SQN RAAF based at RAF Station Ford in Sussex, England were killed when Mosquito HK312 crashed in the English Channel - their bodies were not recovered and they are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial
