Plane was Whirley BD 276 crashed into a Hampden which was parked in front of Hangar 3 and immediately bust into flames.
The Whirley had come in to land slightly higher and faster than normal and appearred to be about to overshoot the runaway. The aircraft bounced and on the second bounced the pilot appearred to attempt to open the throttles to go around again but the aircraft stalled and flew at a low level at about 100 feet above ground. It then went into a stall and veered off narrowly missing 9 Hangar then continued on till it hit the Hampden
