Son of Blanche Maud Rose of Punchbowl, NSW
LAC Ronald Norman Rose 444041 & LAC Edward Francis Pontey 444034 were killed when Avro Anson DJ236 of 8SFTS dived in vertically from approximately 3000 feet during a non-operational air to air camera gunnery exercise. Probable cause - structural failure of port mainplane.
