Flying Officer Ross DFC 40060 RAF was killed in the loss of RAF 83SQN Hampden P4410 over the Dortmund-Ems canal, Germany - also killed were Sgt J L Dewhurst / Sgt K A Sayer DFM / Sgt R J Buckley
