SHACKEL with One L only - whats in a Name
I have includeded the Marriage Certificate for Ernest Allan Shackell [Shackel] to prove that his surname only has one L.
The document was provided to me by my Cousin Allan Shackel of Brisbane for inclusion on the Shackel Family Ancestry work we did together.
All of the other Siblings have recorded their surname as Shackel, including Charles Edgar Douglas Shackel - S/N QP8368, QX19324 Private.
Unfortunaly neither NAA Records are open for public reading so I cannot access the Actual Enlistment Form for either of these brothers.
Their Father was Ernest Oswald SHACKEL and Mother Lillian Maud BARTLETT
Married 18th March 1908
Certificate in the Photos section to view.
