Son of James and Ethel May Staunton of Burwood, Victoria
AC Staunton suffered a fractured skull in a Motor Cycle accident in Micawber Park, Belgrave, Victoria and was taken to Number 6 RAAF Hospital where he passed away.
His brother AC Lindsay James Staunton 126272 was seriously injured in the same accident and was discharged from the RAAF 21 July 1944 while at Number 1 Convalescent Depot
