Walter James Fulwood

Walter James Fulwood was born in approximately February 1884 in Snowtown, South Australia. Before Fulwood applied to the war, he worked as a farmer at Balaclava in Victoria.

During the war, Fulwood was a gunner. He embarked from Australian in October 1916 and spent most of 1917 training in England. In September 1917 he finally reached his unit in Belgium He served safely through 1918 but in early 1919 became ill with influenza. He was discharged for the flu. He returned to Australia in May 1919.

No details are known of Fulwood's later life.
