Son of Percival Armstrong Thomas and Gertrude Elizabeth Thomas.
Leading Cook Harold Frederick Thoams, 23 a son of the late Mr. and MRs. P.A. Thomas of Toorak formerly served on the H.M.A.S. Sydney. He was born in South Africa and came to Adelaide in 1925. Shortly before his eighteenth birthday he joined the navy. He worked at Holden's Motor Body Builders Ltd. and lived at Victoria Terrace, Unley.
