Disembarked Batavia on 18 Feb 1942, reported Missing at Java on 07 Mar 1942 (now POW of Japan)
Died of avitaminosis on 01 Oct 1943 while on the Thai-Burma railway.
Body exhumed 16 Apr 1946 and reinterred in the Kanchanaburi Allied War Cemetery (Row J, Plot 1, Grave 78)
