Pilot Officer Kenneth Rowe Warren 410765 was killed in the loss of Lancaster ND870 of Number 106 Squadron RAF near Souesmes, France

Pilot-Officer Kenneth Rowe Warren, younger son of Mr and Mrs Stan Warren, of Harcourt, who was reported missing on May 8, 1944, is now presumed dead. He was captain and  pilot of a Lancaster bomber which failed to return from operations over France. Pilot-Officer Warren, who was 20, was educated at Harcourt state school and Castlemaine High  School. Before enlisting he was on the staff of the State Electricity Commission.
