Avro Anson aircraft R3540 of 2 Service Flying Training School crashed at RAAF Wagga Wagga, NSW
The aircraft broke up in flight - a steep dive leading to partial structural collapse followed by an uncontrollable spiral to the ground. Collapse of the main structure occurred near the ground.
All crewmen were killed:
