Killed in Air Accident
Mrs. M. Palmer, 31 Chermside St., Highgate Hill, has been notified that her son, LAC Gordon Oswald Wilson, has been killed in an air-craft accident at Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Twenty years of age, he enlisted in Queensland and went to Cannada recently to complete his training as an RAAF pilot.

Leading Aircraftman Gordon Oswald Wilson 414330 was killed when Cessna T-50 Crane training aircraft 7887 from Number 12 Service Flying Training School (12 SFTS) at RCAF Base Brandon crashed near Chater in Manitoba, Canada
Cessna Crane aircraft #7887 and Cessna Crane aircraft #7745 were engaged in circuits and landings at the airfield at Chater, Manitoba when they collided in mid-air. The only other casualty was Pilot Officer Arthur Beverley Polley RCAF J/8159 (Instructor) who was in aircraft 7887 with LAC Wilson
