Wiliam Henry BRYCE was born in Queensland on 7th April, 1874
His parents were Thomas BRYCE & Janet MENZIES
He served with the 1st Queensland Mounted Infantry and was invalided home and then returned to South Africa with the Prince of Wales Light Horse where he held the rank of Sergeant Major
He died of wounds on 24th August, 1901
