Thomas Wentworth CRESSY was born in 1880 in Tamworth, NSW
His parents were William CRESSY and Ellen Elizabeth CHUCK (see link to story on left of page about his Father's real name)
Thomas enlisted with the New South Wales Imperial Bushmen (B Squadron) who left Sydney on board the transport ship Armenian on 23rd April, 1900
Thomas died of Enteric Fever on 22nd May, 1901 in Klerksdorp, South Africa, and is buried in the Old Cemetery, Klerksdorp
He was awarded the Queens South Africa medal with 3 clasps
