Stanley LIPSCOMBE was born in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales on 8th April, 1879

His parents were Walter Alfred LIPSCOMB & Edwina Miriam JONES who married in Belmore House, Wagga Wagga on 22nd January, 1876

He served in the Boer War with the NSW Imperial Bushmen and died of Peritonitis at Mafeking on 19th June 1901 & is buried in the Mafeking Old Cemetery
