Paul Francis Reidy was a salesman from White Hills in Bendigo. He was called up for National Service on 1st May 1968. He was 20 years old at the time. Paul was posted to D Company 9RAR as a Rifleman. He was killed when a mine exploded on 25 May 1969. There were ten causalties including six Australians but Paul was KIA. He died at Dat Do, 6 km South East of Nui Dat according to Vietnam Veterans Gravesite Commemorations. They conducted a gravesite service for Paul and three other Vietnam Veterans who rest in the White Hills Cemetery.
