BAULCH.- In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Private William John Baulch, who died of wounds on 1st December, 1916, at the Somme, in France, a good, kind, and faithful son and brother, aged 37½ years. How we miss him no tongue can tell. Always thoughtful and kind, liked by all. His merry laugh won him many friends on the battle-field. May we all so live to meet him by and by.
—(Inserted by his sorrowing father and mother, brothers, and sisters, Ballarat road, Lexton.
BAULCH.- In loving memory of Private W. J. Baulch, late of Lexton, who gave his life for home and country, December 1, 1916, best mate of our late dear brother, Gren. G. S. Naylor. He fell in field of battle, Struck down by a passing shell; He was carried in by his comrades, And his mate who loved him so well.
