Son of James and Elizabeth FRASER, 280 Marrickville Road, Marrickville, NSW
Alfred saw service in Egypt, England and France and was invalided back to Australia after 12 month's service and discharged as medically unfit. He re-enlisted and embarked in December 1917 in the Australian Flying Corps as 2nd Air Mchanic No 2064 and saw service in Egypt, England and France.

Alfred reinlisted in Sydney (NSW) on 12 Nov 1917 with the new Service Number: 2604 - finally discharged on 28 Mar 1920
