"...678 Driver Charles Thomas Black, 32nd Battalion. A greengrocer from Hackham, SA prior to enlistment, Dvr Black embarked with the Transport Section from Adelaide on HMAT Katuna on 11 November 1915. On 24 June 1918 he was killed in action, aged 34, and was buried in the Vaux-Sur-Somme Communal Cemetery Extension, France. His remains were later exhumed and re-interred in the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery (Australian Memorial Cemetery)." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
