Life after the war
Jim worked as a cane cutter before the war and on his return he trained as a butcher. He married Marie after the war and they had three daughters. He loved the beach and the bush and was always happiest when he was there.

My Grandmother's nephew
My Name is Patricia Veschetti (Nee Hoffman), My dear Dad's mother was Florence Pretoria Holdsworth who later married my grandfather Alfred Eric Hoffman ( my grandmother affectionately known as Tory)and her sister was was Norah Ottoway Holdsworth and James was Norah's son.
I have a lot of family History and a dear photo of James with his cousin Jimmy Cook, and Douglas Holdsworth taken back approx in about the late 1920's as this photo was at Daisy Holdsworth's place for many years and then handed on to Douglas Holdsworth and then passed on to me and this photo is quiet large and in a beautiful frame.
Many treasured memories.
