Son of William Adams and Alice Ann Adams nee Knowles of Brisbane, QLD
Husband of Martha Adams nee Snook of Nambour, QLD. George and Martha married Brisbane on 23 August 1909. Father of George Adams and Alice Elizabeth Adams
Prior to enlisting he was employed by Cobb & Co. as a Coachbuilder and Blacksmith for many year. After marrying Martha they opened a businees in Eumundi from which he retired in 1960. He later became a Councillor on the Maroochy Shire Council for nine years
Commenced return to Australia on 24 July 1919 aboard HT Dongala from Suez disembarking on 28 August 1919
