"...4813 Private Albert Edward Hackwood, 15th Battalion, of Warwick, Qld. A labourer in a flour mill prior to enlistment, Pte Hackwood embarked with the 15th Reinforcements from Brisbane on HMAT Commonwealth on 28 March 1916. He later transferred to the 4th Light Trench Mortar Battery. On 20 October 1917 he was killed in action at Passchendaele Ridge, aged 23." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
