Son of Florence and Rupert Arthur BETTERIDGE
Served in Egypt, Gallipoli and Palestine
He was captured by the Turkish on September 29, 1918 but rescued from the enemy on October 1, 1918
Returned to Australia aboard the “Dunluce Castle” in August, 1919.
