Son of William B and Charlotte BAXTER, 304 Young Street, Annandale, NSW
Albert served at Gallipoli until the evacuation then in Egypt, France and Belgium. He was wounded on four occasions, but recovered and returned to duty each time and was with his unit at the cessation of hostilities.
