¨ Served in the Solomon Islands in WWII. (1942- 1946)
¨ Enlisted on 30 July 1942, Mosman at age 18, moved to Bathurst for initial training
¨ Discharged 28 October 1946 from the 16 Advance Ordnance Depot in Moorebank as Lieutenant
¨ At age 20 was the youngest commissioned officer in the AIF at that time and eventually became the most senior Reserve Ordnance Officer in Australia serving for 21 years - Colonel Browne
¨ Patron Miranda RSL sub branch
