Late Mr. G. A. Anderson
Regret was expressed in the Waratah district when it was learned that Mr. George Alexander Anderson had died at Latrobe, after a lengthy illness. The late Mr Anderson was a native of George Town, and was 37 years of age.
He went to Waratah over 30 years ago, and was a trusted employee of the Mt Bischoff Tin Mining Co. The late Mr Anderson was of a retiring disposition, and was esteemed by all. He was a foundation member of the children's New Year's Day sports committee, and a member of the I.O.O.F., M.U. He leaves a widow, one daughter and three sons. The late Mr. Anderson was a Boer War veteran, and a military funeral will be held at Latrobe today.
