Qld BDM records have Charles Henry Crick recorded as born Charles Henry Edwards on 18 Jul 1875 in Queensland, a son to Charles Henry Edwards and Sarah Ann Edwards (nee Steele). Its unclear what occured leading up to his enlistment in 1899 in the 3rd Queensland Mounted Infantry at which time he was known as Charles Henry Crick. The Qld BDM records note he died on 8 May 1964 in Brisbane and his parents are noted as John Charles Crick and Sarah Ann Crick.
Charles Henry Crick married Bertha Augusta Fowler on 20 Jan 1921 in Queensland.
