OBITUARY
GEORGE HENRY CROSS
A very old and well-known identity of Dubbo district passed to his rest on Sunday afternoon at the Dubbo District Hospital, in the person of George Henry Cross. Born at Emu Plains, he had reached four score years, the whole of his life having been spent in Australia, with the exception of a period on active service. He was a Boer War veteran, and since his return had carried on farm ing pursuits at Eschol. He was unmarried and nothing is known of his relatives.
The funeral left Holy Trinity yesterday afternoon foe the Church of England section of the cemetery, where the Rev. C. W. Leavers conducted the obsequies.
The funeral was carried on by W. Larcombe and Son.
