PRIVATE WILLIAM FRANK DAFF.
Private Daff, a member of the Second Contingent, was taken prisoner by the Boers early in the war. According to a cable message from Sir Alfred Milner to Mr Joshua Daff, of South Brighton (the father of the young soldier), he was released by the British troops on the occupation of Pretoria. Private Daff, who is a well-known and popular young fellow, is about 25 years of age, and by occupation a gardener.
