Biography contributed by Claude McKelvey

Arthur Bowen Elliott (also recorded as Elliot) was born on 26 Jan 1878 in Queensland, a son to Aynsley John Elliot and Jeanine Mary Thersia Elliot (nee Keane).

Newspaper reports indicate he was discharged in South Africa in 1901 and took a position with the Remount Department. National Archives Australia records indicate that he was repatriated back to Australia some time later (files have not been digitised by the NAA to provide actual date).
