Logan Village Museum

Maurice served in the Boer War Sern: 1905 with the 3rd Australian Commonwealth Horse. Maurice's other Brother William also served in the Boer War and WW1.
In WW1 Maurice served with Sern: 3533 in the 10th Light Horse Regiment.
He was horn 9th December 1877 in Logan Village and died 15th January 1962 in Brisbane and was buried in the Nudgee Cemetery.
His parents were John William Haynes and Mary Ann nee Ambrose. He belongs to the Pioneer "Ambrose" family of the area
He is lised with his brother Edgar in the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll.
He also attended the Logan Village State School.
