A social was given Mr Leonard Knapman, of Booborowie Station, on Saturday  last, on the eve of his departure for the Transvaal.  Mr Knapman will join the second contingent in Adelaide, but it is understood he will be transerred to the Life Guards on his arrival in South Africa.  He was a Life Guardsman previous to his departure from the old country.    Service No. 87
