Arthur Perrett was born in London, England around 1969, a son to George Perrott and Caroline Perrott (nee Sibun). Its unclear when he emigrated to Australia but it appears he spent his life working as a Grazier in the regional areas of Gympie, Qld.
He served in both the South African (Boer) War and WW1. First service was as a Private S.N. 112 in the 4th Queensland Imperial Bushmen, Boer War. Second service was as a Private S.N. 2781 in the 2nd Remount Unit, AIF WW1.
