BOER WAR VETERAN DIES
MANSFIELD: Mr Tom Reardon, a well-known resident of Mansfield, collapsed and died yesterday afternoon while on manœuvres with the local VDC. Mr Reardon, a Boer War veteran, was a member of the Victorian Mounted Rifles for many years, and later of the Australian Light Horse, rising to the rank of captain. He took an active interest in the VDC.
