Rickaby, Thomas Nathaniel (TN) Trooper from Minlaton born Lake Albert, farmer, age  24, single. Wounded in action {slight] 29 October 1900 while serving with South Australian Bushmen in South Africa .  Enlisted AIF 14 January  1915, served with 9 Light Horse Regiment, promoted Lance Corporal March 1916, awarded Military Medal for gallantry and devotion to duty September 1916, promoted through the ranks to Sergeant, Mentioned in Despatches twice October 1916, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant 21 May 1917, promoted Lieutenant 21 November 1917, discharged Adelaide May 1919.
