 Joseph Arthur WESTLEY wa born on 27th May, 1872 in Finnis Flat, South Australia

His parents were Joseph WESTLEY & Caroline Elizabeth HIGGINS who married in the Registry Office in Strathalbyn on 21st December, 1871

He married Catherine JONES in the New Church in Adelaide on 25th November, 1897

Joseph served as a Farrier Sergeant with the 3rd South Australian Citizens Bushmen & was invalided to Australia, arriving 23rd July 1901 on ship Morayshire

Joseph died in Broken Hill, NSW on 13th May, 1926
