TOWNSVILLE, Nov 1.- Mr. E. P. Willmett, for many years prominent in North Queensland public life, died today, aged 73. A Boer War veteran, he was director for many years of Willmett Printers and Stationers. For six years he was an alderman of the Townsville City Council and for 23 years was a member of the Townsville Harbour Board, during which time he was chairman. He retired from the board in May 1949.
