Born 04 September 1891 at Perth, WA, the daughter of Mrs. G BAILEY, oOf Government Savings Bank, Northam. Lydia enlisted 01 September 1916 at Frematle, WA and prior to enlistment was working as a nurse at the Children's Hospital, Perth. She joined No 8 General Hospital, Fremantle and sailed on 29 January 1917. Lyida served in London and France and returned to Australia per 'Wandilla' 09 May 1919 and was discharged 17 November 1919.
She died at Subiaco, Perth 20 June 1974 aged 84 years and was cremated and interred at Karrakatta Cemetery Lawn 5 W6 0100.
