Kevin charles Tait, son of Harold McNicol Tait & Vera Elsie Tait. Kevin was 1 of 10 siblings.
Kevin following in his fathers footsteps decided to enlist in the Royal Australian Navy to join the crew of the HMAS Voyager ll becoming head cook.
The guilt of Kevins father for signing the papers allowing Kevin to join haunted Harold on the news that the HMAS Voyager ll had collided with the HMAS Melbourne during a night flying exersise Harold never stopped blaming himself.
Kevins body was never recovered he left behind his wife Loraine of only 6 months and his family.
