Arthur Rolt BAYNTUN was born as St Arnaud BAYNTUN in 1887 in Richmond, Victoria
His parents were Bathurst Rolt BAYNTUN and Alice WHITLOCK who married in 1885 in Epsom, Surrey, England & came to Victoria in October 1885 on the ship CUZCO
Arthur married Evelyn Beatrice WILSON in 1915 and had one son, St Arnaud Samuel BAYNTUN born 1916 - after Arthurs death in 1916, Evelyn remarried in 1921 in Victoria to a Thomas Joseph DEMPSEY
His son St Arnaud Samuel BAYNTUN married in Victoria in 1938 to Gladys Lenora POSTLETHWAITE - 2nd marriage to Olive (surname unknown). He died on 13th April, 1974 in Western Australia and is buried in Guildford Cemetery
Arthur died of wounds received in action on 30th June, 1916 - he was awarded the British War Medal & the Victory Medal
