Add my storyBiography contributed by Les Westerlund
Grandad, Harry, ( Henry Edward) came to Western Australia, as a Fairbridge Kid from mother England.
He met my Gmother, Dorothy Elise Webb
(1914–1972) also from Fairbridge Farm;
They married as the first Fairbridge Children at the new Church on 17 June 1933.
They got eaten out by rabbits in Manjimup, when Phoebe was born in 1935 and moved to Cowaramup and settled on Waverley Farm in 1936; Famous in Cowaramup; He was Sec of Farmers Union and helped the community; Dot helped the Anglican church; some children and lots of grandkids; I remember him hand milking and feeding the cows on the farm about 1965 ish. Their old farm is now Symphony Waters Estate, Cowaramup.
