Son of Tasman and the late Isabel HARDMAN, of Brighton Junction, Tas.

Private Roy Hardman (killed) is the third son of Tasman Hardman, of Brighton Junction, The grandson of Mr. Isaac Hardman, chemist and druggist, of Hobart, well known and  respected in that city, also nephew of H. I. Hardman, Melbourne, aged 21 years.

He was well and favourably known in the district and was a member of the Brighton Rovers Football team, playing for the Patmore and Ryan trophies.
