Alwyn Lyal PAGE
Alwyn was born in Grafton, NSW May 9, 1919 the son of Thomas Nickson PAGE and Emily Hilda PAGE. He died on November 15, 2010. He was predeceased by his daughter Leanne and wife Dawn, formerly Dawn McCallum and survived by children Dorothy, Lyal and Meryl.
Alwyn was educated at Grafton Primary and High Schools and prior to the war worked on the family farm at Great Marlow near Grafton, NSW. After the war he returned to the family farm before moving to a property at Barretts Creek, NSW. Later, returning to Grafton, he worked for The Grafton Dairy Company and then The Daily Examiner newspaper.
Note: The correct spelling of Alwyn's second Christian name is "Lyal".
