Robert James Robinson’s interest in restoring old cars did not go on hold during the war years. While stationed at Los Negros he found an old Jeep in the jungle and restored it to serviceable condition. The Jeep was affectionately named Dumpy. After the war, Robert turned his attention to the restoration of veteran and vintage cars and up until his death, this interest remained at the forefront of his life.
