Tiger Moth DE264 of 19 Group Communication Flight RAF crashed near the town of Postbridge in Devon, England
Flight Sergeant Julian Peter Worthington 300142 RAAF was killed and Sergeant Harry Norton Trowbridge 21587 RAAF survived the crash - both men were from 10 Squadron RAAF
Sergeant Trowbridge was sent to Number 2 Airmen's Convalescent Depot (2ACD) at Hoylake near West Kirby in Cheshire, England to recover from treatment for his serious leg wounds

Harry Norton TROWBRIDGE was born in St Kilda, Victoria on 3rd July, 1920
His parents were Alex Roy TROWBRIDGE & Gladys Mabel NORTON
He married Freda BROWN in ACT
Harry died on 13th January, 1995 and was cremated in Woden Cemetery in the ACT
