Michael was born to Thomas Frank and Unice Agnes Donohue on the 10th March 1948 He was the younger brother of Unice Pamela Smith (nee;Donohue) and the older brother of Sharyn Maree Smith (nee:Donhue). He was a supporter of the Hawthorn Football Club and was married to Wilma Wooderson and had 1 step-daughter Jillian he was Pa to Joslyn and Tom Grover. He was much loved Uncle to wes, Tim(dec) and Karl Smith and is greatly missed by all
