Isaac George Carrington BANCROFT was born in Burwood, Sydney in 1891

His parents were John BANCROFT & Emma SUTTON who married in Sydney in 1881

Isaac died from meningitis while in training camp on 16th October, 1915

After less than a week's illness the death took place on 15th inst. of Private George Bancroft, from meningitis, in the Liverpool camp hospital.  Deceased, who was 24 years of age, was a son of the late Mr. Bancroft, printer, and was brother in law of Mr. S.M. Paris, of Auburn Road, Auburn.  A brother of the deceased is also in camp, and two others are alread at the front.
