    William Edward Lord served during WW2 with the 2/3rd Australian Field Regiment (& the 2/3rd Anti-Aircraft Regiment) with Service Number VX34870 - following discharge in September 1945 he worked for the Australian Red Cross Society (B3/372), serving overseas at Lae
